International Refugee Day 2020: Take Action!
Celebrate World Refugee Day on June 20 th by h onoring the courage and resilience of refugees! Recognize the hardships they have faced, the new lives they have created, and the positive impact they have on our communities. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, communities are still finding ways to celebrate! Write, fax, or email on the proposed rules for Asylum and Withholding of Removal: The proposed rules, which impose nearly a dozen new bars to asylum, would rewrite asylum law to exclude nearly all people seeking refuge. Written or electronic comments on the notice of proposed rulemaking must be submitted on or before July 15, 2020.
