International Refugee Day 2020: Take Action!
Celebrate World Refugee Day on June 20th by honoring the courage and resilience of refugees! Recognize the hardships they have faced, the new lives they have created, and the positive impact they have on our communities. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, communities are still finding ways to celebrate!
Write, fax, or email on the proposed rules for Asylum and Withholding of Removal: The proposed rules, which impose nearly a dozen new bars to asylum, would rewrite asylum law to exclude nearly all people seeking refuge. Written or electronic comments on the notice of proposed rulemaking must be submitted on or before July 15, 2020.

Protect Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA):
Sign the petition to the Senate to protect DACA recipients, also known as Dreamers
Urge Congress to uphold the values of the dignity of all people and invest in permanent and healing solutions for DACA-mented youth and their families by passing a clean Dream Act in the Senate immediately, as expressed in the bi-partisan H.R. 6 and in S. 874, to give DACA recipients and eligible undocumented youth a pathway to citizenship.
Read some DACA-related materials from the National Immigration Forum for your background, including a DACA factsheet, a collection of Dreamer Advocacy Resources, and an explainer video on the need for Congress to act.
